A Twist to Rangers: Tanking

While many have tried and failed, i myself decided to create a tank ranger
Note: I am a secondary tank with high support (Not a main tank)
I have a shield and spear, rather than a bow. I have all healing skills and bolas.
The heals and bolas are cruecial to the build. Dps is low, but if the main tank dies, staying alive is not a problem. Bolas is ready, along with heals for the tank and me. My stats are full defensive, but the ratio is a secret.
I tested this build by taking on 4-5 level 40's in shale while i was level 34. I am able to solo 3* red wisps at 34, and using stategic tactics, boss soloing is possible.
Why did i do this you may ask... Well i did it just because. I can heal during fights and can be counted on to keep the boss up if others die.

When did I ever said you where new? I never implied any of that. Of course I saw your signature. When I think of bossing I think of actual high level monsters like Rockbelly. I'm sorry you misunderstood my post.

Dont worry about it. You're right though, bossing mobs like rockbelly is not something i'd do with my ranger at the moment. I plan on leveling my ranger on the side, as a last priority or when im bored.

A ranger with health is like a mage with strength. Waste of attribute points.
A ranger is meant to have strength, currently. With all my points in strength i can solo just about any mobs in stonevale with bolas (except fireflight witch uses cloak, quite difficult).
A ranger tanking would make me nervious and confused i think.

- There is no real credible reason to have a ranger tanking. Any class can tank to a certain degree but why do that when you can have a warrior tank? Assuming of course you actually have one of the warriors that actually built a tank and not some watered down dps version...

I dont want you posting on my threads. You continualy comment without actualy reading what I have typed. Please don't be so ignorant if you are going to continue posting. I dont care about DPS rangers. Im not new to the game, and I am obviously aware of their abilities and role. READ WHAT I TYPED.

I know...I have a tank-built warrior already. I was going for "First successful ranger support-tank in Rhiannon"
I have already stated that I am a secondary tank and what I am capable of doing.

"atm" stands for "at the moment".
Another word would be "currently".
