Ok. So ive been thinking. Why is my damage so low on mobs with 2k+ dmg? I do nearly 700-900 autos and a rare 1k+. Most rangers I know near my level do 900-1.1k. I'm 176, my gear is frost comrak set, +5 longshot with about 200 dmg added to it event ring(trying to get a better longshot one), 40 magic and heat dmg rings, 150 Str quiv , anc wyrm bow n bp, dl shoes gloves helm and legs(working on bp atm) 40/40 vit str brac 70/70 focus str brac (can switch to another 40/40 vit str and working on hrung braces atm) my skills are bolas longshot doubleshot sharpen weps and steady aim. Stats are(with items) 710 str 400 vit and near 300 dex. Idk why I'm hitting low,not sure what to do, so can anyone tell meh why :s

700-900 isnt that low... And 710 str is absolutely useless considering the diminishing point is 300

My str is a base of 375

But it really doesn't start to plateau till around like 400-450 right?

Im lvl 127 with a dmge of 1300 so mayb youshould upgrade ur lux or buy earthstone like me

DL is superior than es... my dmg. On stat page is 2k+

Boss gear is also superior than lux now so a ton of lux isn't as good as ppl think

Elemental quiver is your best bet. Like the axe/dagger comparison, you need 1k str to tip the balance to the dagger's favor- same principal with our quivers. Some say with 700 str its ok, but remember pierce is more resisted than elemental...
