Hi everybody, I have a few questions concerning rangers. I'm sorry if the answers were placed elsewhere, but I couldn't find them if they were. Please don't be byist while answering.

1. Does a spear give more overall damage than a bow. (Include variables like no sharp shot for spears)

2. Can a ranger with a spear/bow have a chance of out damaging pure dps rogue.

And that's it. I'm hoping that someone who has experimented with these variables knows the answers!

1. Go bow forget about spear no skills with spear period.
2. absolutely its all in the stats though. I find that rangers will out dps if rogue and ranger just use melee combat (ie no skills) however if a rogue uses skills they will out dps a ranger even if skills are used on rangers.

This is mainly due to their sneaky attack if that wasnt there ranger easily could out dps rogue

On the 2nd question, a ranger might be able to out dps a rouge with a king bow if he had the right stats and knew how to use it with metrioic corectly

+1 i often take every kill that i am in group with. no matter if theyre are rouges... granted i am 7 levels higher than the highest rouge in our server

i have a ranger level 108 and im all strength but still a rogue level 99 can out dps
