Hi guys
My ign is 5harp, and the 1st toon i ever made was a ranger, i got him to lvl 112 before i got bored of him, finding that his build was no good, and with no idea how to make it good i moved to rogue.
I recently had a spur of confidence back into rangers with a new skills idea

Im still working out some things
But i was thinking maybe since i have lvl 100 axe offhand, but not quiver, i would change to spear
Then max sharpen weps, dbl attack, rapid shot and light heal
Become a mostly str build

My auto should be op right?

Either that or try and get lvl 100 quiver
Max sharpen weps, dbl attack, rapid shot, light heal and steady aim
Then still be mostly str

Again, epic auto right?

But im still not sure, sticking to rogue for the moment
Just wondering if i could get some advice from u rangers out there

For me i played around so much with builds im stuck at lvl 105 but for me right now im a spear ranger with dagger offhand. If u like bolas or bossing without restos use bow xD for lvling tho i use spear for nice dps with a druid or ranger with good enough heal to power me (Eritand's beast heal of 1.2k+) if not i use restos. i prefer spear as it is more fun tho. But get an aggy spear. Im using lvl 100 vendor spear which is dam slow lol.

Irok I haven't done a spear build yet. My autos weren't epic until I was able to get 1k strength, air quiver, damage ammy and charm, and several damage aggy rings.

At that point I was able to have 1k autos at mobs 2 lvls above my toon.

Now I do suppose it all depends on what your definition of epic is. The only reason I haven't done spear I'd I've been too lazy to lvl the spear ability.

He maxed steady aim, sharpen weps and dbl attack, was hitting 700-800 autos on people, (he was lvl 117-120)
Im not aure what other skills he maxed

But the only reason im considering spear is because i have rogue offhand already, and to get quiver i would either have to get myself some more gold, or trade off my axe offhand, but i love it :p

As i said, saw lvl 117-120 hittin 700-800 auto
55 lvls higher i cant imagine it only going up 200ish, if u were still doing it the same way

Zyz said 2 lvs higher mobs..if zyz would att a lv 120 mob ot would probably hit 2-2,5k autos

He isn't doing anything wrong. Mob resists go up with their level. I've personally myself had near 2.2k+ damage at one point and yet it hit 900-1.1k autos most the time... With a peirce lure it was higher but normally it was 900-1.1k

His damage stat was around 1500-1600 and he was hitting for around half. This is about what mine was at that lvl.
