Ambidextrous ranger experiment

I am going to experiment with an ambidextrous ranger(able to easily fight and constantly switch between spear and bow) when i am at aggy trident req, so I'll be constantly updating you guys on how it is

I will lean towards being more skilled with a bow, but I will see if being able to constantly switch without changing stats or skills

The advantage of a ranger is attacking at a range. Why would you take that away from yourself? You're essentially just becoming a rogue wannabe.

If I was wanting to be a rogue wannabe, I could just make it a lot easier by using my alt.

But I'm just messing around with this special ranger, so my rogue is out of the question for now.

Yeah he may end up looking like a wannabe rogue, but the versatility of being able to attack at close range and far range could prove useful depending on the situation.

This might be true on the taking away of ranged advantage but if he has fun doing something a bit different with his toon, then it's a good thing.
