Celtic Heroes

Recently, I've tried giving Ymir Bow a shot. I was very impressed. My damage went from 700 to 1500. With ymir plus a heroic haste LIX and double shot, my question is how long will Ymir Bow be worth it till?

I am currently lvl 100 and my gear is:

Lvl 100 Yule 100 dex ammy (2013)
Two +8 pierce braces
No misc (50 pois sunfire charm 125 req)
Spectral Ring of the Reaper
+6 Steady Aim
+5 Longshot (Samhain Grand Ring)
+5 Sharp Weps
Bloodlust helm

Current stats is
1583 HP
502 Energy
1703 Attack
408 Defense
1508 Dmg

Ymir is not worth it. You would pull off more dps with a meteoric bow and quiv. Once u get meteoric that is. however warden bow and a lvl 100 quiv will give u better dps as well.

The only use for it is that at ur lvl u would hit high double shots, but its not enough to one hit and the slowness is annoying as hell.

Ymir is awesome. Period. I had experience with a ymir and winterking bow before so i know this. With haste that slow speed bow turns into a death machine But for swapping it out, you have some nice dps gear that might be of better use for a faster bow, but i always choose power over dps myself(ice mage logic, burst damage easier to level). If you want to stick to ymir, id say the max level you can use it to is 160.

With alts I used to play around with, ymir bow is very good from levels 40-100, after that I recommend getting a lux quiver with met bow and switch to ymir bow only for double shot / longshot, that should get the mobs hp low, then finish them off with some quick met bow shots.
