So i have this delima on what gear I should use. Im a lvl 182 str build ranger and some help would be nice...

Everyone is at a loss that I ask on my server about which ammy to use at 190. I currently have the stargem str ammy and its better in all ways than this events 190 ammies except the skills.. so should I uograde to the 190 ammy from this event and if so which one or just keep this one(with the 1k hp i can take points from vit and put into more str so it could even out the damage)

Also ive just kind of blindly followed my friends lead on a str build and would love to know if this is even good...or what to change
Str-1005 (2445 dmg)
Dex-215 (3275 atk and 430 def)
Foc-10(1147 energy, i have enough for skills with my regens)
Vit-250
skills: Bolas(up to 205), doubleshot(up to 200), rapid shot(45/40), sharp weps (49/40), steady aim (42/40)

180 str/haste quiver, 180 spell bow, DL set, stargem ammy of storm, 2 50 dmg aggy rings, and mighty snfire charm 60 dmg, at 190 i have the trail bracelet with 100 heat dmg.

im level 182 atm

I'm a 221 dex ranger and loving it so far, although I did str up until 220. At your level I think you should stay str though. I can tell you that if you're considering this event's ammy, know that the skill is not ranged. So for rangers the skill kinda sucks unless you fight up close.

Stats look ok, although defense is kinda low. That's alright though if you're using bolas. Once you get into the tower bolas is hard to use because there's not a lot of room to kite. It's not impossible, just hard. I would dump rapid and use hastes or combos to level. Your gear looks good for a str ranger. Godly aggy dmg rings are still ok until you can upgrade to a hrung dmg ring.

Despite a few minor tweaks I'd say you're on the right path

:/ cant get ahold of any hrung rings im on crom and seed gets hrung everytime so any other rings i could try?
and how do i get defense up significantly? just raise my dex? and should what would i replace rapid with?

I for once agree with Mamba... rangers need a lot of attack so get runic str rings instead of hrung dmg rings. Necro obvlion rings are best.

Pretty sure if another clan gets hung necro rings are also out of the picture.
To the op I'd suggest playing around with stats and skills find a build that suits what you enjoy. Could be hybrid Dex or str.

+1 I like sharp shot, although I'm full dex

Hrung loot is just for mages/druids now. if you're a ranger or rogue, look at the lux shops for better rings/bracelets.
