Why admin now bolas is 7sec I hear bolas is the only thing that makes rangers important
rouges destroy in dps
warriors tank and have giant swing
Druids heal
Mages do tons of damage with skills
We have bolas
With the bolas we have we are needed now it last 7 sec which gets rid of all solo capabilities and all bolas capibilities at all I can kill all mobs in the game because of bolas now we have to waste dps power on health and dex which do nothing to aid someone who should be 50 yards away at all times
please make us good again bring bolas time up

Hi sweetheart, Your slightly mistaken.

Bolas will remain 30seconds on all Mobs (NPC enemies).

But bolas Has been nerfed to around 7 seconds when it comes to Player Vs Player combat. (PvP)

Bolas is still extremely usefull in PvP and can be used in a skill rotation to still make rangers an amazing PvP class. But 30 seconds of 95% slow on a PvP match is Game over for any other class, Which is why bolas was downgraded to 7 seconds.

Bolas still has a decent cooldown.. So while you can't maintain 95% movement slow on another player the entire fight. Mix bolas with entangle and your CC abilities is off the chain.

The only downside is that all skills for all classes now have a chance to be missed or dodged (I hope it's not a high percentage)

What makes ranger class important: Amazing group support- Decent side heals to tank while waiting for cooldown on Bolas- 2nd highest DPS- And now entangle- Also being a long ranged great solo class.

The beta testers did a ton of work, Have faith and let's see how it plays out.

Bola PVE timer is fine, the problem is mob movement reduction has seemed to be reduced with no explanation of the slowing speed in the skill description.....grrr

Is it just my bolas level too low or that it doesn't work. Right now I am lvl 34 and I have a lvl 2 bolas. Whenever I use bolas on lvl 10+ it always says enemy lvl too high or enemy resisted bolas. For example I used it on a Connacht auxiliary and it said enemy lvl is too high. If I upgrade bolas more, should it be normal?

read the description of the skill on the skills page, it will tell you what level Bolas will affect. My Level 15 Bolas only affects monsters Level 85 and lower. Each skill level boosts the skill by 5 levels so your level 2 Bolas might only affect level 20 monsters and lower.
