Dragon if you can afford it, best dps pet. If you can’t I’d say spider then wolf. Poison dmg is generally better than slash and wolf loses a lot of dmg if more than 1 person with it

Dragon is without a doubt the strongest dps pet however for many owning a dragon is far beyond their price range.

Of the regular pets imo I would rate them as: spider > dog > wolf

The spider is dex attack and a poison skill which on anything bar necro is great.

A lot would disagree with the dog however here is why I think this. The wolf is almost entirely reliant on the dot for the skill to deal any damage while the dog deals full damage on impact. The more wolves at a raid the less effective yours becomes. On top of this the wolf deals slash damage, inferior to pierce damage that the dog deals because pierce lure is much more common. Whilst the wolf does add str and attack, which is great, in the scale of things it is only a small boost to stats once you reach end game and have decent gear. The dog adds vit which helps more once you start obtaining doch gul armour.

To top it off the dogs skill lowers the targets defence so the dog is the best dps pet as a whole thanks to the defence rebuff affecting all toons there.

Id probably agree on wolf being bad due the skill. Spider should be top pick and at worst if someone really really needs more survivability then hare for full survivability (but no dps other than nice energy boost), dog for vit or chicken for heals + dex attack.
