Perhaps we are losing a percentage of the next hit (time wise). With frozen, this percentage is only a matter of half a second or so and therefor the qs is worth it. With slow weps, this percentage may be a second and a half or more and therefor the quickstrike is no longer worth it. (because the skill doesnt reflect the damage of the weapon).

not on a long fight though, the delay would build up and lower overall dps.

The delay should be noticed within 8 seconds (the amount of time it takes for quickstrike to cooldown). This delay isnt going to grow exponentially throughout the fight My only source of confusion in this topic is my above post about the duels. When I used quickstrike, I won. When I didnt use quickstrike, I lost. This was tested multiple times with the same results each time.
