Im buying plat so i will have all possible damage gear and i was wondering what build does the most damage?

One that uses skills.

Poison weapon helps a lot with auto.

Get the samhain ring that gives you 100 poison dmg. Great ring to have.

you need a fast wep (meteoric, frozen etc) and lots of elemental dmg. so get an offhand axe, a dmg helm, dmg rings, dmg ammy (or samhain one) and maybe physical dmg braces. use poison wep, shadow strike and qs (fast cast) and fast reflex. for stats make max 300 str (depends on lvl maybe 150-200 dex and rest vit.

the rest of skills should be qs ss and riposte for high dps with instant casting, the rest i guess in reflexes if u want

-Amethyst amulet of the tomb
-Grand bracelet of the blade
-Grand bracelet of the talon
-Royal ring of shadow strike
-Grand ring of shadows trike
-Greater ring of shadow strike
-Spectral ring of the reaper
-40 cold damage misc. charm
-Full frozen
-Meteoric dagger
-Full obsidian
-Currently lacking a DPS helmet (but if you have the money it's worth getting one)

370 strength
150 or so dex (currently adding to this)
10 focus
260 (or so) vit

Max poison weapon, shadow strike (the rings give you a pretty high shadow strike), quick strike, rend, rest into riposte.

You might notice that you have very low energy when using the obsidian, this is because I have an alt mage, who I use to give my rogue energy buffs, which means that I can have all the damage gear I want, without needing to have regen or items that add energy. I'm assuming you won't have a mage alt, so perhaps a talisman of the earth or the spectral talisman of midnight would be best for you.

This build has great DPS and good autos, but the survivability isn't fantastic.

In short: Fast weapon, lots of elemental damage gear, I really suggest trying to get hold of the shadow strike rings I listed above so you don't lose your skill DPS.

Important* Try to only use gear of the same element. I use ice, because my mage uses lure of ice. If you'r offhand is ice based, try to get other ice gear.

rend over riposte? i cant see that happening on my rogue :S

Rend does not require you to have aggro in order for it to work. Therefore I like it more.
