Celtic Heroes

So I've recently created a rouge toon, and am used to playing as a ranger i am confused on what skills would be most efficient at his low lvl( lvl 57). I have just used an alt book i have 56 skill points to use and i would like to spend them in the best way possible. All skill are /15 with exception to fast reflexes and smoke bomb /17 . I do not have shadowstrike but i do have riposte.

Any suggests on what skills to spend i my points in will be very helpfull and please let me know what is and what isn't worth putting points into at my lvl.

Try to get and max shadowstrike ASAP. Best rogue skill for everything except necro.

Don't use smoke bomb (or expose weakness) as these are bossing skills.

Poison weapon is not effective at low levels—the damage is too small. Don't use it.

Rend is not that great either. It's initial damage is always same as your auto attack, the ticks are too slow (5 second delays), and tick damage is pretty low.

Max these skills in this order:

1. Shadowstrike
2. Quick strike
3. Fast reflexes
4. Life steal
5. Sneaky attack if dagger, double attack if spear (don't use both)

1. Riposte- max this one, will help exponentially at lower levels on any number of mobs.
2. Quickstrike- max, free dmg
3. Life Steal- if you have it, fast reflexes if you don't.
4. Fast reflexes- or sneaky if you have a dagger, otherwise dble attack.
5. Whatever you like- after you get ss max that over fast reflexes.

I do recommend you getting ss ASAP, as it is extremely useful, though it is also pretty difficult to get.

Sneaky is better than fast reflexes for your level. You don't have high defence to dodge many attacks.

As if you left out riposte, definitely one of the best skills for a levelling rogue.

I'd personally say ss, qs, riposte, life steal in that order if you're looking for a higher dps or ss, ls, riposte, qs if you're trying to last longer. Dump the rest in reflexes if you're willing to alt every 30 levels.

Yeah, but sneaky takes mad long to cast. I prefer fast reflexes.

Max Riposte, SS wen you get it, Sneaky, Life Steal and Quick strike. Right now i'm trying to get a really good pvp set up and I'm thinking these skills SS, Riposte, Sneaky, Life Steal quick strike and play dead. I dont know witch one to eliminate since you only have enough skill points for five even thought others opinion on this probably wont help I'd still appreciate it. I'm still trying to get play dead for my rogue (almost lvl 70 no lixes) and the main problem I have with pvp is warriors have so much armor and do so much dmg. I get one shot by warriors with slow high dmging weapons and double attack, its not even funny. They gotta make double evadable in pvp and interruptible. I dont actually have ss on this character yet so druids are a pain and if I had ss I bet i could beat mages (with life steal, double and quick I can usually take out their shield and with play dead I bet i could also win). SS will be so awesome against druids (no running any longer) and riposte is killer against the occasional rangers i fight. I haven't tried ss and right after it sneaky but people say it works so ya, ss, sneaky, riposte, quick and life steal! Hope I helped.

Ah yeah, forgot riposte. Great solo leveling skill.

But if you're group leveling with a warrior/rogue/ranger/mage, best to leave it out imo. Hard to pull aggro sometimes, especially from a mage.
