He means a rogues autos might be lower since pierce is usually resisted more

Personally if u dont solo, I think u should go str, dps-wise the skills are better. Also, if u lvl with a druid only, riposte becomes beast (at lvl 132, 1k dmg on average on each mob [lvl 35/30 riposte] on 5 mobs 2 ticks each, thats 10k dmg total).

I'm interested how much pierce dmg multiplies with str or whatever you guys are talking about.

While I was level 190 I used the 25 pierce dmg offhand with 90 Str on it.
My strength was 1000 and that gave me approx 9.5dmg per pierce. The other example was exaggerated but he stated he guessed as well
For me I had 155 pierce mainhand and 25 pierce offhand (more pierce would mean Str points give you a higher amount of damage)
If I remember correct this would be an accurate example of the multiplier with the 2 pierce weapons (total 180 pierce) I mentioned
800str gives 8.9 dmg per pierce
900str gives 9.2 dmg per pierce
1000str gives 9.5 dmg per pierce
1100 gives 9.7 dmg per pierce
1200 gives 9.9 dmg per pierce
the multiplier gives less damage as your strength gets higher but the point where more strength gives you less also depends on how much piercing/slashing/crushing damage you have.
For example I now have a 180 pierce mainhand and 50 pierce offhand. I still get a considerable amount of damage per pierce with 1625 str. My multiplier currently is 16.5 dmg per pierce

Feels a bit wrong as its most of ur dmg, did u do the math while including all ur elemental dmg (heat, cold, magic, poison and divine) and/or buffs?

Yeah sorry all I did was remove quiver. Didn't take away the 250 divine dmg. Multiplier would be 10.5. Thanks for pointing that out. It did look alittle high lol

I figured cus I have same str, and I got 12.15 multiplier, but that is with Frenzy.

Thanks, that helped out a lot. Also, I was under the assumption that divine damage was only effective against chaos mobs. Is this true? does it not add auto dmg against non-chaos mobs?

Yes that's true, it has no effect on non chaos mobs

Stay dex until you lix in the tower
