I've killed the obe countless times , not every single spawn but for the first couple months I killed the obe every day , I've yet to see a ring over 35 . I think if you didn't see it drop and only were told it drop from obe you are probably being conned because someone sold an Aggy drop they were not supposed to sell .

I have seen it was imperial stormfist kinda weird it drops aggy making it obtainable by other clans and easier then agg

I can tell you I have gotten two rings from obelisk of note. One a +40 and one a +45.

A player on our server got a +50 from obelisk. The reason I can absolutely assure you of the player getting it from obelisk is because the player got the drop after we had only killed Aggragoth once and Aggragoth only dropped one +40 the first time we killed him.
