Re: Offhand
#13I'd still pretty much say axe no matter what. Unless your some level 200 rogue with perfect gear, axe will be better as rogues need dex unlike warriors
UrMerGurd level 151 rogue and counting!

Re: Offhand
#14I have been told using a strength build for the dagger does more Dps while the axe is a Dex based build is that correct?

Re: Offhand
#15No, the dagger does piercing damage, pierce slash and crush damage scale with strength. The axe has cold damage, magic cold and heat damage don't scale with strength. If you have around 800-1000 str the dagger scales up high enough to take over the axes damage.I have been told using a strength build for the dagger does more Dps while the axe is a Dex based build is that correct?
Not many rogues have over 800 str unless they're going for top skill hits, so the axe is generally (and by generally I mean like 99.99% of the time) better than the dagger.

Currently actively playing the game.
Re: Offhand
#17To an extent I suppose, I just wanted to clarify just how much str would be in the str build, generally when someone says str build they imply some vitality as well-- but that's like all strength. So you said no, then confirmed what he said? No, the dagger does piercing damage, pierce slash and crush damage scale with strength. Re: Offhand
#18I've been trying a haste offhand recently, it's a lot of fun! And it doesn't have the worst dps if you consider it frees up a ring slot.
