Notice he said ice OR fire? Mages would still have he option to change elements, even if they aren't as effective with the other element.

And not one person complains the fact that all rangers got in the Samhain event was long shot rings and some useless charms that break gara sets anyway.

The event boss is one boss that your poison damage won't be effective against. You still have aggy, mord, hrung as well as every single DL boss left to kill on a regular basis.
Longshot isn't a great skill because of its pin effect in end game bossing. I've given up hope for rangers to ever be a fun class.

As to OP, as much as rogues are overpowered, making some of their best skills obsolete on bosses isn't helping on anything. Agree on most points.

Rogues are overpowered other classes are underpowered imo.. buff mages druids and rangers
and fix it id rather have it like endgame where my ss just avoids a lot

Yes rogues are a strong class, but I don't see the point in ruining a whole skill tree (essentially) all because ppl say ONE of the skills is too strong...

Well, of course.

But I do think the fact that a class losing out on entire events due to terrible drops should be taken into consideration more than rogues not being able to DPS to their full potential on the event boss.

Edit: I can assure you that as a fire mage, dealing absolutely no damage to Pyrus, a permanent boss, is more annoying than the situation you're in. :P

Ss is not as overpowered as some may think, mages fireballs deal just as much damage and not exactly a long cool down either, as for poison resist bosses, rogues base standard build is poison based that's the whole point of being a rogue, poison weap etc, if poison is nerfed completely from a dex rogue what does that leave rogues to be? Auto monkeys!
Rogue "useful" dex skills
Lifesteal (slow cool down)
Poison weapon (constant casting) (useless now)
Fast reflexes (non damage skill)
Shadow strike (best skill "used to be") (useless now)
Not so useful are the rest, smoke Bomb/expose weakness (support skills only)

Rogues are only classed as op because of their speed of consistent damage, ss doesn't make rogues op as most classed as being so are str build end game rogues with mordi spears.
This is merely another case of otm making the stronger even more untouchable by nerfing the only useful skill rogues have left.
Looks like I'll have to be another auto monkey in the game smh
