Re: Rogue Leveling Build

I dont understand ppl soloing. Up to tower, actually up to 2nd tower floor u can lvl with lower lvl druids as well, make a use of that because they're begging for u to lvl with them. Not only that, if u lvl with druid constantly u can adjust ur build to maximize dps and do things such as taking 4+ mobs and doing riposte, increasing ur xp from 3 bars to 7 bars an elix at lvl 130+.
Believe me, for every elix I did without a druid on any of my classes (except ranger, and well druid, but never elixired on my druids except maybe once on retired one, low lvls) I slapped myself for being stupid.

Druid lvling, str build with decent amount of dex, qs ss riposte sneaky is what I do, last skill is always debatable.
Thanks for the idea, I lose about 30% of my exp dragging my dummy Druid around but being able to Lix both of them with my pure dps rogue is awesome experience. 1.5k hp base, rest in str, 350 Dex from gear.
Skills, Riposte, ShadowStrike, Quick Strike, Sneaky Strike, 22ish points in assassinate.
Druid runs abundance, bark, breath, touch. Pretty standard healing druid

I've mostly solo'd until now (207 atm), making around 9% xp per lix currently.

Until 181 I used a 2:3 str/dex build and qs ss ls rip fr for skills.

Once past that and into tower til around 205, I used a predominantly str build using qs ss ls rip sa/assa (been bossing also, so I get to change builds a lot during this time).

Lately, and since I went spear, I'm running a balanced sort of build (1100 str/ 1000 dex) using ss qs da rip ls.

I found that the build is not the only factor in maximizing lix. It's also what you do during lix (lixin strat) and what you level on.

At <= 181 you can do whatever you want and a lix will still get you *around* the same amount of xp. Meaning, you can't do much wrong.

However, once you get to the tower, you *will* have to change builds and lixin strats depending on your level to maximize xp, at least when soloing.

Tower mobs have a much more varied set of resistances and have different weaknesses to strats, so you'll have to adjust a lot.

There are times when the "rip 'em up" strat (gathering 2-4 1* and 2* mobs then casting riposte) is hella good, others not so much. For example, at 201-205 there are deadly 4* mobs lurkin around the 1-3* mages (which are your targets), so you can't really freely run around gathering mobs for that strat. That means you'll have to do the quick-kill-n-move strat, which will need a different skill set.

Basically once I get to a new level, I run the first 3 lixes to observe first, and formulate a strat. This includes a stat build, a skill set, and a route through which I can kill the most number of targets and avoid the 'untouchables' (which are the 4*s). Once I find a strategy that works, I stick to it until II get to the next level.

Now, this seems to be a lot of hassle but due to such factors as my timezone (less people to lix with) and whatnot, I'm forced to do it. So that's how I roll.

you could try looking at my guide although its mostly a solo build you can try adapting it to yours if it works for you.
I do, friddoo, and it has helped me a lot. I haven't followed it to the letter (like now for 205-207) but nonetheless has helped loads. Ty for the guide.
