Wrong. Ranger best for endgame and mage best for low tier bosses. Rogue is the middleman. The higher the resistances of a boss are the stronger becomes ranger and the lower the resistances are the stronger becomes mage.

Gele prot and necro a ranger will get more kills than rogue.

Hrung and mordy a rogue will get more kills than ranger.

Mage is definately not best dps on any eg bosses.

I've personally seen more rogue kills on prot and necro (only 4 gele kills so far on Epona) than ranger kills soooo

On arawn mage got very first prot kill(didnt know lures canceled shield so dps were dropping like flies haha) but i have not seen a rogue kill. Rangers get all the kills

You would probably see more rogue kills due to size of lock groups. an equal sized group of Rangers will always beat the rogues. As a Mage ive even locked prot with 4-5 in group consistently when I'm with rangers, up against 7 rogues

Also doing prot after gele, we have locked prot regularly with our gele offtank group that has 3 tanks and usualy 3-4 rangers. This is over full rogue and other dps groups

What makes rangers better on these end game bosses is their offhand dl/edl skill. Rogues cancel each other out, so share a lot of dmg from thst, Rangers get it all to themselves. Whoever can do most divine dmg wins.

Group dps matters a lot too. If the ranger grp gets lock and does more damage than the rogue group the top ranger would get kill even if the top rogue individually scored more dps than him/her. Proteus yea, ranger sided because of the nature of the fight,anything else it's just rogues>rangers as long as gear is almost comparable.

Depending how many edl rondels are at fight, like previously state their skills cancel eachother out. Meaning more rogues with oh, lower overall dps for each. In that case ranger wins

Ranger gets lots of our necro and gele like i said. Almost all i would say, are geared equally
