I was lucky enough to have the gold on hand to purchase both at the same time. However, if this hadn't been the case, I would have gotten the ring first. Good luck with whatever choice you decide to make!

Simply put, If you already have the star tali then buy the ring. If you don't then but the ring and the new tali. And if your gold reserves can take it, buy the ring that adds defense. It will be a good ring in the future for tanking on your rogue or future warrior alt.

The new tali is nice, but I wouldn't do flips over the added damage. Heat damage woulda been nice. Perhaps OTM is hinting that magic damage will be best for the towers. Cold was best for OW and heat is best for carrow.

If I was level 100 again I would be doing flips over the level requirements. That's a big overlooked positive.
