Rogue as a Supporting role

As I recently discovered, our accuracy when fighting bosses during clan runs are kind of low (most people have low dex), leading to unnecessary waste of idols. So I decided to max smoke bomb. Currently my smoke bomb is 20/20, basically it's 100% hit chance when my smoke bomb is used. But there are some cons too. My efficiency for solo training has been greatly reduced. So this brings up the question, can rogue play as a supporting role in boss fights?

yes, a good support rogue would be
high dex, medium strength/hp, and enough energy to keep u alive

skills- smoke bomb
poison weapon (cast it on group members)
bandage
distract (to help the tank keep aggro)

not the best support class but it is possible

I am building a rogue I plan to run as support.

He has max smoke bomb with a nice ring.
Max poison dagger for self and tank.
He has max H2H.

Why hand to hand? It does not seem to miss as much. I will switch him to dex later. He is for interrupts and continuous damage. I just want a decent lux H2H offhand. I have used this at low levels (90-100) pretty effectively. He swaps out to dagger for Assassinate n Sneaky. Don't know how well it will work at higher levels and he needs to be within a few levels of the boss fought.

Just messing about with it.

A supporting rogue... Doesn't make much sense to me. Your talking about building a whole build around 1 skill smoke bomb. Poison weapon on a tank is silly, they hit slow and they are tanks doesn't most of their damage come from cloak and thorns? Interrupts on the other hand are very useful, but just run a strong dex build and you should be good with that. Don't pigeon hole your self as "support". You can still be a real rogue and cast smoke.

poison weapon (cast it on group members)
Poison works best on group members who hit the fastest. It adds damage per hit, so whoever hits the most in the allotted time will add the most damage i.e. yourself (the fast-hitting rogue)

yes, but it also helps make sure your tank is doing some damage thus preventing another group from ksing

It still adds more damage overall by applying the same amount of added damage to a faster hitter, unless your fastest hitter is too weak to deal full damage to the boss.
