Initial hit with rend is still glitched

title says it, the initial hit with rend is usually in the auto attack range, but once in a while the initial hit is in between 10-30 damage
it has been like this since the update, i guess with all our whining about other things this got overlooked, it doesnt hugely affect the use of the skill but it is for sure annoying when you cast rend on a golem, do 23 damage and then the first tic of damage does 87...

+1 I keep forgetting to post bout this so thanks pigman! It is pretty annoying, a quick fix would be much appreciated.

For what it's worth, there is a similar glitch with Ranger's barbed shot.

That Pigman. It is very annoying with the amount of points I put into rend to see thm all wasted on 28 damage strikes.

I had to take my points out of rend and switch it to something else, I also notice this problem as well and hope they do something about it "soon" because at one point of time before their was a new area speaking of "Other World" it use be very satisfying and worked like a charm.
