play dead in the tavern its a quest, smoke bomb is a drop from the "retaking fairyland" quest bosses in otherworld

Indeed. Assuming you can get your hands on the items - scrolls, pages, bindings, etc.

There is no lvl requirement for the two mentioned skills. I got my play dead skill around lvl 50.

Getting the blue binding and cover is hard. Smoke bomb you will probably need a pretty good clan to get.
