Yeah, my rogue uses a trident once had a venom dagger but couldn't hit that well and I realize with using a trident it adds an high amount of Dex to your stats allowing your Dex skills to be increased, meaning your posion and helping you stop missing attacks.

Im a skill spammer and i dont like the ice because its not a rejuv.

When i used the ice i ran out of energy fast which meant i had to put points into foc which meant less in str. also i found i needed an invig charm. using the venom for me means (with my current armour) no points in focus and more in str. overall with the venom i do huge amounts of damage and receive regen and health/energy bonuses. go for the venom!
