After a 3 weeks break with my mage I'm back to rogue! Quick question though, I'm trying to deal some decent dmg with rend (most ppl considered it to suck, which I was trying very hard to disagree with), poison weapon seemed to look decent. So the question is:

Does rend DoT dmg stack with poison weap dmg?

nope, it would be great if it did, but no

Poison is a waste of points indefinately unless you have rings maxing out the skill, and rend sucks until you max out the skill and get rings too. So basically, it isnt suggested til higher level

At level 150 damage skills are useless I use pOison reflex smoke all maxed. Poison adds damage that mins don't resist so it's very useful. Rend is great until your damage passes the 700-800 mark

I use both maxed. As a dex build that almost exclusively solos, I let my gear do the damage and my dex guarantees I hit. Rend and poison add extra damage while I am hitting. I have also found that quick strike does not interrupt my autos if I use it just after I have landed one. So my routine is reflex, poison, rend, quick, auto..... quick auto.....rend quick auto....quick auto...
