Is it true that...

Is it true that just because you don't spend a lot of time testing rogue skills and spend plat doing it, that your posts about those skills are invalid and a load of rubbish, and don't make any sense? If you speak from your own experience with them from a day to day basis does that mean your posts are complete crap compared to the posts of those who do spend plat testing? Because apparently it's all true.
What does the rest of the community think? :|

I think you mostly troll and don't even play anymore?
Edit: nvm i think im thinking of thedarkchild or somthn.
Either way, those who test usually know more than those who guess.

No thats Darkchylde, who now trolls as Lightchylde :|
lol they aren't guesses, they just aren't conclusions reached by hours and hours of testing, just conclusions reached by everyday gameplay. By experience. After playing a game for so long your not exactly clueless about game mechanics. How is that a
guess?

Testing proves things. I could say from day to say experience I see a Druid ks rogues doesn't mean Druids are better dps then rogues...(just an example) but really testing is the way forward. You can say something then people will test it. If they prove it different then you was wrong cause they have done sufficent testing to prove it. You just have a theory.

Does that mean that my posts mean nothing?
What your basically telling me is that I have to spend hours and hours testing and spend loads of plat so that people will consider my posts legit? Unless I'm not getting the message here

No, if you have game experience and only comment on the stuff you hve experience in then your posts are valuable

To elaborate on piggy's response, if you have a level 80 rogue and then post how good skills/stats/builds are, we won't take you overly seriously because you lack the experience of using those skills/stats/builds at different stages of your ch life and in different situations. It just so happens that the people who are most knowledgable in these areas are in fact knowledgable BECAUSE they have spent time and effort testing and assessing.

Testing can only learn ya so much as well . Real game application means an awful lot .
I don't like the idea that the op keeps repeating "tons of plat" regarding testing , I think that's probably a misunderstanding on your part unless a few alts/rebirths are the tons of plat you are talking about .

Pretty much
People keep telling me that I don't know what I'm doing on forums any more, that my posts don't matter - because I am not high enough, and that I don't speak from actually testing a single concept...and I wanted to see if there was a majority who agreed on not just me specifically, but the whole idea of those who offer their input without actually testing.
I really feel like a total whiner now

but ya gotta understand that's the last thing I wanna be. It's just curiosity.
Postscript: Sorry if that's how it came across elim - that's how it was made apparent to me anyway. :|

I think everyone's feedback is good , it's not as if you are telling people how to fight Aggy , you comment on things that involve you that you have some info on .
I can be about as big an *** as anyone on the forums , snide comments and little remarks that I think are funny probably not funny to others but i enjoy it lol . you can't let what others say on an open forum bother you .
That being said , fix your mascara Nancy , it got all messed up with the cryin .
