Which would be better for dps soloing auto hits mostly?

For mostly autos, the axe would be a better choice.

I would say axe, i tried the dagger with ammy of annihilation v axe with ammy of stars, both with 4 damage rings and the axe was much better damage while stars gave better rejuv. In short...axe.

I was thinking the axe and ammy of annialation, then possibly an energy bracelet and ring

Regen, bracelet and ring would do less then ammy of stars, also if you have or can get hold of damage rings and bracelets they help a lot. I use four rings and the two new bracers for evasions and defence. Working pretty well so far.

I use ammy of stars and regen dagger. In my personal opinion the dagger is much much better then the axe i get to use a fair few skills which is great and 80 unresistable posion damage beats the damge exta tht the axe gives imo.

I am wondering the same thing, I have a question too tho:
If I am an auto rogue, do I still need skills? I mean like when I train I combo so I get some regen,( the only skills I use when training are riposte, fast reflex, and quick strike) also which combination should I get?

I mean im an auto rogue, so some of the skills i use are reflex, poison wep, riposte, and the times i am not autoing are when im using assassinate and lifesteal. Lifesteal at a high level is really helpful at bossing and leveling if you're getting hit. Also the 150 str bonus is nice, lets me put more points into vit and dex

I tried out the axe yesterday with my 15 pierce necklace, no energy regen means all auto rogue and an auto rogue is much worse dps than one that uses skills. I would recommend the dagger definitely unless you decide to use a stars ammy and have regen covered then the axe would be good.
