Dagger of Slaying vs. equivalent axes (Fiery/Freezing)

Pros/Cons of each? I currently have a primal blade offhand, but plan on exchanging for either a dagger of slaying or one of the axes for higher DPS. My only regen item is heroic ammy, so I would be down some regen if I went with axe. I'd say I'm mostly str based (250ish), but I use shadow strike and life steal so I have a decent amount of dex too (150ish). Thoughts?

What gear do you have besides ammy?
I personally use the axe, it has a strength boost for quickstrike, sneaky and riposte. Therefore I can spare some stat points in dex for shadowstrike. The dagger of bounty/slaying is useful for skill spamming with the regen and pierce damage, but again determines on your build and the skills I 'spam' are shadow and quick strike in which between the cooldown time, i can land 4-5 autos in there for some good dps.

If you could pm your gear I can give you some more advice from there.

I use the dagger. The energy regen is the important point. After I hit 120 and maxed my dps skill I had problems with energy. Axe is better for a auto rogue imo but nobody plays a rogue like this anymore.
