Ive always wondered which is best.
Warden, Meteoric and Frozen daggers are really fast but are they better than the slower but higher pierce dmg ones like flint, opal, adamant etc?

Personally I would recommend the quest line ones, the fast speed overlaps the dmg (you can have a dps contest btwn quest and vendor weap, quest weap wins 70-80% of the time), and v4 gave it a proc skill that could do some decent dmg to the bosses, considering their ridiculous defence (when you go like miss miss miss miss miss miss miss miss even 100 dmg makes a difference .

speed would prob come first when ur a rogue since most of solo rogue's skills arent dmg based, so speed has another advantage there

but need to mix both, speed is better for the long runs, but killing a lvling mob doesnt take that long, need to get a good wep with great speed and medium+ dmg so it'll be effective

warden dagger is crap btw, 2400 speed and 45 dmg, i like the quartz dagger more than i like diamond

quartz - 2260 speed and 60 pierce dmg
diamond - 2500 speed and 70 pierce dmg

adamant, dont know, dont care, i prefer met

met and frozen are both great

met - 1950 speed and 55 pierce dmg
frozen - 1900 speed and 65 pierce dmg

i think frozen can outdps wyrmbone but anc wyrmbone is great

It's right but i think it really depends on Your offhand, if you beggin and have bad offhand, you should get a dagger with good damage and médium speed but when u have great offhands, the meteoric is so nice, with my 50dmg helm, 80dmg amulet and dagger of slaying, , i use meteoric and auto 400-450 but if u dont have it, you should get quartz

Id say if u rich enough go through dmg one and pop hastes ull be fast + heavy dmg
but if u want me to compare id say
flint > warden > topaz(quartz) > Meteor > opal(diamond) >onyx > obsidian, Adamant > Frozen, wyrmbone >anc wyrmbone > and finally ofc Dragon lord


P.S. these things depends on ppl opinion so we cant say what is the best choice

I have using quartz till i got my meteoric and i'll get adamant at 120

If you have enough money for lots of damage gear, like Golden Blade and Damage Helm and a Greater ES necklace/Slayer Necklace at those low levels, Meteoric/Frozen would be better than a high Damage diamond/opal/adamant weapon. If your poor, your better off with the high damage low speed. I've got Rad ES top and Bottom, 2x +50 Dmg and 2x +45 Dmg Rings, Bounty Dagger, Annihilation Amulet and Champion Helm. My Frozen Dagger outdps the 160 Wyrm Dagger. Even my Cruel Knife outdps the 160 Wyrm Dagger with all the gear.

160 wyrmbone with dmg rings ,dmg ammy ? if yes i doubt it

if u have dmg offhands and rings etc. then they will benefit more from faster mainhands.

i would say quartz/topaz are stronger than diamond/opal (2260 speed 60 pierce dmg - quartz/topaz, 2500 speed and 70 pierce dmg diamond/opal)
met is also better than adamant imo, with almost any gear, when nuking with all the instant high dmg skills, all u need is few fast melees to destroy the mob, mostly at those lower lvls
