New to Celtic Heroes and Playing a Rogue

#1
Hello all,

I know there are several topics with the debate regarding strength vs. dexterity. I'm sure there is truth in both arguements when it comes down to boss content and number crunching, but I am far from doing any of that. I downloaded the game last night and read everything I could on these forums to figure out what class I would like to play and how to allocate its stats. I'm hoping someone would kindly let me know what I should be focusing on statwise for a solo build for now (I would love to group but I know no one who plays this game). I'm not looking for any sort of "easy mode" that doesnt exist, rather a build that will be useful for questing and killing regular mobs. Any help would be greatly appreciated

To be honest i'm not the best rogue, I have recently starting building up my rogue, It is lvl 51 and here are the stats that i think helps kill normal enemies .
I have a golden bodkin of spirits so my focus is 0.
my strength is around 80 and 120 ish vitality, you need a good hp pool to survive acouple of mobs instead of killing one and healing. You really need to try and get a rejuvination amulet or something. I have 60 dexterity but im guessing you wont have a rejuvination amulet so you might want to lower your strength and dexterity to have some in focus.
so , get up heaps of vitality.
Try to get
40 strength
50 dexteruty
40 Focus
70 Vitality

After you have achieved this start to test your own favourite type of stats.
Good luck! :P Sorry bout my post it's a bit messy :)

Actualy with a rogue there is an easy mode.
Put ur points in sneak attack, hide and quick strike!
Use the hide and sneak attack combo.
U can choose ur opponents better than any other class that way and level very fast and easy.
It makes quests easier too.
Thats y rogue is the best solo level class by far!

That advice was like a knife trough my heart.

I remember I put a lot of points into dex. It was great but when monsters started using skills it went a bit harder. I had around 50 points str. 20 to focus also 50 to vitally and rest into dexterity.
Not sure how the build will do now but I used auto attack and quick strike spamming. I used quick strike Lvl 1 just for that extra hit every few seconds.

I could almost run into every mob because I didn't miss and I evaded a lot.

At first I put everything into strength and vitality but then realized I didn't have enough energy to use my 5/5 sneaky attack so I put a few more into focus. After playing 20 levels so far it seems like I should be putting points 2/1/1(sometimes)/1(2 if skipping focus) every level. This fits my current playstyle (hide/sneaky attack/quick strike/rend) so far but then again I have very little experience,so any constructive criticism is welcome=) For solo training/questing is poisoned blades(weapons? I forgot the skill) a must as well? I ask because my action bars are full and I would have to replace meditate (what is the max amount of action bars?)

Again, thank you for the input on this thread. So far the community has been very polite and helpful
