a perfect time to ask what ive always been wondering:
why would warriors be less effective dps than other classes?
i can see mages outdpsing a warrior any day but how about rogue and ranger?

the only thing i know that a dps has to have is:
heroic haste gloves (available to all classes)
damage bracelets (available to all classes)
lux damage offhand/quiver (available to all classes)
high damage wep (available to all classes_

everything is available to every class
i dont see why a ranger or a rogue could out dps a warrior :|

Technically with a magic lure on target the warrior is last dps on the game without a magic lure warriors is number 4 dps. So the best dps without gear is mage , with high-end gear is rogue/ranger , with magic lure druids can be serious dps ...

As a warrior the try all weapon build combination to get decent dps I will tell you If you are planing a dps warrior you are in for a whole world of aggravation . To have a mediocre build the cant compete for kill .

Well rangers and rogues both have faster weapons and better skills. That makes alot of difference.
A warrior can be some serious dps though.... One with an ice blade, damage ammy, 2 aggy str braces, 4 royal/imperial/godly rings, full radiant and a frozen sword or an aggy trident can out dps most rogues and rangers :) lol

Oh and another thing, rogues and rangers are classes whos soul purpose is dps, while that of warriors is to tank. So naturally they have to have a higher dps than warriors or warriors would definately become overpowered.

Because: ranger: has a skill called ... Umm... A skill that increases the attack speed (super fast with heroic gloves) which give higher DPS.

Rogue: the attack speed of dagger is faster than a sword. With heroic gloves its even faster, hence giving it a higher DPS.

This is my opinion.. :) idk what others think. But correct me if im wrong.

A warrior in all that stellar gear can outdps a rogue or ranger in frozen sure. But give all that gear to a ranger or rogue to make it a more accurate comparison. Wars have no chance

Rangers arent really solo dps they were a hybrid class but most prefer to go dps. In all other mmorpgs i have played rangers dps usually even or even less then a dps warrior. The logic behind this is warriors are hitting with heavy strong weapons and are up close taking damage while a ranger is fast and can hit from a distance with arrows. Imo rangers shouldnt be better then a full dps warrior while rogues should be the best.
