i suggest either training on the shadowslaves and the dark confessors in dustwither in the room in the middle third down from the top of the map
avoid the black guards/deacon of donns/other guys with the black and red armor unless you have regens

you can get regens by going to the luxury shop to your right in farcrag castle (go to the guy named quigley)
you need 20,000 gold to access the shop by the way and everything is VERY expensive for someone your level
unless youre buying platinum dont even bother getting any regens (you might be able to afford the bronze ammies though)

and back to the original post...
you can also fight the connacht scouts behind the crookback caves
theres quite a few of them and theyre lvl 29-ish

or you can fight the connacht skirimishers to your left once you enter shalemont ravine

I'd say go to shalemont ravine and kill some there. Catacombs is ok too. The heroic ammy costs 200,000. Might be too much if you don't buy plat. If you can afford. Buy the 5tick energy ammy pronto.

Heroic costs much less if you buy off people. Might be able to buy one for 160k.

Don't think he should purchase 5 tick energy amulet either, since it'll be almost impossible to resell without vending. Bracelet of invigoration (+10 energy bracelet) is probably your best first option.
