Warrior Stats Questions

#1
I have two questions regarding warrior stats:

1. Is there any need to place points into Dexterity at all, or at least before level 150?

2. My current stat setup is:
Strength: 240 (390)
Dexterity 30 (60)
Focus 10
Vitality 305

At the moment, I am just adding to vitality because I believe there is a cap for strength where is it next to useless

My Skill setup is:
Pummel 25/25
Rupture 28/25
Protective Stance (25/25
Double Attack 25/25 (up to level 130)
Shatter 19/25 (Rest)

I am generally a hybrid warrior for levelling. I got about 2.7k hp, around 1k damage. And I'm level 112.

My Question is: Should i take all points out of Dex and dump them into Vitality? Also, should i continue adding points to strength? Because I heard there is a cap where it's next to useless? But STR affects warriors' skills so there is more reason to continue adding.

the cap of str is 300. after it your dmg wount go higher thatuch. morre str is only usefull for skill dmg (i have 775 str lol). make your str to 300 and put all other points in vit. dex is always useless for a warrior because it doesnt add that much to attack and def.

There is no cap. Damage is proportional to the square root of strength. Papi figured this out a long time ago. 300 is a completely arbitrary number that some people have decided is best.
Ya, I wanted to know the most popular optimal amount, which seems to be 300 base strength.

Is there more reason to invest more points into strength if you are a warrior though, because the skill damage increaes?

over 300 it needs you more str points to get 1 dmg than below 300. more str is only useful for higher skill dmg. the difference from 300 to 700 str is maybe 100-150 dmg so not much compared to around 2400hp you could get out of the 400 stat points.

Most high level warriors that are not tanks have much more than 300 str sometimes with their base or bonuses depending on their gear. 300 str is fine for your level. I don't think the exact relationship between str and skills is known because of the variability of skill hits.
I was just trying to correct more of a wording issue. A cap implies that nothing changes. Diminishing returns is a better description.

Nothing special happens at 300. Over 200 hundred you need more str than below 200. Over 400 hundred you need more str than below 400.

u could call it a plateau, a point that the dmg gain by str gets much lower
for example, i could see that up until 300 str each 5 str would add like 6 dmg or so, after 300, it gave me 2 dmg for every time i added 5 str, above 300, above 550, and above 800, the only way i get more dmg per 5 str is that it gives some boost to my frenzy

noone just decided its the best, u could see it urself, ofc its still good to have more str if u want higher dps, but it wont be as affective as before 300, i use over 800 str for the dps only, therefore i have 2689 health
