Celtic Heroes

I have been meaning to ask this one for awhile now, to get it out I have had experience with tridents and I do love them. My warrior currently has a tank build but I can easily respec and adjust to a more dps build. I have 175-190k to spend and I am thinking of giving up my search for a trident and just getting a blade, but would this not benefit me as much as a warrior?
1. Would there be any case a golden blade is better?
2. What class are blades for?
3. What type of element (Ice, fire, magic) of trident/blade is recommended for around level 85+ (it'd be great if I were given a list of mobs and locations for each type)

When otherworld lux was the best in game, the majority used golden blades of ice.
If I were you, I'd save up for lvl 100 axe offhand.
But maybe you want to use the lvl 50 offhand until the lvl 150 lux offhand, so...
I'd say golden blade of ice.
Most mobs aren't resistant to cold dmg. But then again, many people say that golden blade of magic is better because more mobs aren't resistant to magic dmg.
I had good luck with ice so thats what I'd go for

Fire for leveling in the otherworld.
If you're having regen problems, keep looking for a trident.
If not, get a blade. The dps is much better.

Thanks, I am sure I can get a nice regen quickly. There anything special I should do with my stats or skills? I am wanting to go back to a more solo build.

Get an axe mainhand, a golden blade, and as skills, with these weap, youre double attack and rupture will be awesome, get shatter too
The best skill setup imo is:
Rupture, double attack, shatter maxed and spare points in protective stance.
Proc stance will help you a lot
