Well, I could use some help.

#1
I would love for the veteran warriors to add to this (help noobs) so Sirblaze's guide isn't the only thing to refer to! (no offense)

I think the way to decide which way you should go should be determined by what you are known for and what you like to do.
Hybrid
To be a hybrid, you should want to have the will to tank if needed but also to help kill boses

well I have to go for now ill add on later!

Hybrid.
You need not just good vit, but good str to do some damage!
When attacking, correct me if i'm wrong, You should be able to do a considerable amount of damage in the place of another. I would like some help from the veterans right now on maybe some specifics!

Tanks
Health, Health, Health. And a bit of dmg.
Yeah. Thats all I really know.

This has been Hoganas failed attempt of a warrior guide  :(

Re: How to decide!

I might be able to help a little with this as i was a hybrid(still kinda am) for a long time. But IMO its better to go one way or the other. Its like a chest, being a hybrid. You can open it and come out with a horrible build or a mediocre build. Then there is the one guy who finds the perfect build an smashes everyone.

Well I have a hybrid warrior and he smashed everyone. :D For warrior's in general, I believe a full on dps build isn't a great option. Tanks are only necessary for higher lvls and bossing. Hence the HYBRID.

A basic overview of how you can become a good hybrid (not guaranteed )

Stats:
STR- EXTREMELY IMPORTANT for hybrids add a good amount
DEX- Well, if you go for more str than vit, I put in a little dex (around 50 points) at lvl 100. This was boosted with braces and such and those braces are suggested. Defensive formation is necessary when adding dex or the points you just added are useless.
FOC- Add as needed.
VIT- should be used to maintain a good amount of health so you can take multiple mobs.
For a stat ratio (without dex) go for a 2STR:3VIT. As you reach higher lvls, at 100, and so on, you can reduce points from STR and add to VIT to complete the ratio because of higher lvl gear with better bonuses.

Skills:
MAX
Rupture-necessary for warriors, great skill, always hits a good amount of damage
Double Attack-Adjust to lvl mobs you need to kill
Shatter-
Protective Stance
Defensive Formation- Meh, I used it almost maxed, helpful to me.
Any extra points can be sprinkled in Giant Swing or another skill of choice depending on how you want to specify you build, gear, etc.

Gear:
Offhand trident actually works well with this build, however golden blade is the better option when nearing lvl 100 and over.
Energy regens are great
Hero haste gloves or haste lixes while lvling.
Skill rings, do not buy regen rings.
Axe or blunt weapon recommended.

Respond with anything I might be missing out on please. This is what I used and it was very successful for me, helped me get 50-105 quickly.

Well i run a good hybrid build for lvl 100+

300 str with bonuses e.g mine is 150 base with offhand axe and haste ring makes 300,
Rest in vit that's it for stat points
For skills i use- shatter max, rupture max, double attk 10 lvls above mine, proc stance max and rest in def form

For gear stick with quest armor e.g warden, astral, frozen and for weapon i use adamant axe

As for regens health isn't as important as energy as with all those skills maxed it sucks energy and if you can't spam skills then your dps will drop

I use earth tali, brace of spirits and rev energy brace and I can spam my skills

Rings try and get skill grand or royal ones and when adding skill points make sure the total adds up to max e.g if my rupture is max lvl 30 and i have a +5 rupture ring the total points i will put in will be 25 this way you save points for other skills and still have maxed rupture

I think that's about it hope it helped happy hunting :)
Deathbat- lvl 141 hybrid warrior
Legolas666- lvl 101 DPS Ranger
xHellFirex- lvl 75 fire mage
Shadowkillz- lvl 55 Rogue
Clan- Guardian of Honour
world- Danu
There's no i in team but there's an i in meat pie and meat is an anagram of team! :-)

It all depends on what kind of damage gear you have available. Back in the day, there were very few (or literally non-existent) damage rings, necks, charms, bracers.
Being a hybrid actually means putting in points to both strength and vitality.
These days, if you can grab plenty of damage gear, (especially elemental ones that don't increase with strength) you can still go full vit/tank and have decent damage that would be at par with a dps warrior.
The main difference would be the skills you choose as full tanks usually forgo skills like rupture/shatter/double attack.

not all of ppl use hybrids for bossing, its mostly lvling, back then when there werent lots of dps skills (swing and pummel is all i used, and they were crap as well) most of warriors would prob max tank skills as well, i had taunt shield bash proc stance pummel and swing pre update

as for the OP, u dont have to read sirblaze's guide, but sometimes ppl dont feel like giving same answer over and over while the one who asked for help can just read other posts, such as sirblaze's guide, or older posts of lots of good warriors around, and between all the builds (hybrid, dps, tank), i believe hybrid has the most posts about, so it wont be hard to find help on that
