The chance of a hawkhurst chest to drop has been nerfed recently

No the chance was always erotic, be gotten 5 in 8 kills and none for 30 minutes, its not nerfed its just erotic.

erratic is the word you mean, not erotic.

i did farm pirates and hawkhursts, the gold from pirates is good, but its matter of luck, the only shadowstrike tome i got was from hawkhursts, and thats enough to get much more gold

If u want make gold easier:here are some few steps u can follow

1)go kill some hawkhurst gang sometimes he will drop hawkhurst chest which is 2k each
2)check captain blackstorm every 20-30mins if u can solo cap black,min gold are 1k,max gold 2k *preferable with grps as u like but cap black's hp is hhigh enough so i ll suggest grp with peeps if u cant solo
3)collect some cargo chests and u need to get a quest which is 5 cargo chest=1 smuggler tonic,each smuggler tonic u can sell for 500-1k ,WHAT U NEED IS BE PATIENTS
4)farm at pirates also a good choice and drop rate higher than hawkhurst gang,pirates drop skills,rings and doubloons
5)u need to check for bear boss often(located at twisted tunnel) cuz he drop +3 or +5 rings depends ur luck,bear boss are 5star
6)check bosses at lirs,shalmont,sv,ow,sewers and carrow tunnel

May I add?
Check all gold bosses, scorpions, spiders, ancient wyrm, elder zombie, boggan chiefs and etc. , if u solo a boggan chief for example, u can get over 10k, up to like 9k with group, +greater-royal carrow ring (rupture, life steal, shield wall, etc.)


As for hawkhursts being nerfed, i farmed yesterday, 7 chests in 25 mins, 2 of them were in a row (2 mobs one after another dropped)
