Umm... Idk why you guys are defending the venom. It's only advantage is its rejuv and even then, it only acts better than the trident at high strengths. It will never deal as much damage as a golden blade though.

We were defending golden blade, not poison -.-

I hate poison blades myself. No decent damage.

no if you have like 600 strength you could have the dagger do more damage than the golden blade

The fact that there are magic,fire, and ice based tridents makes me not want to pick since when i encounter certain mobs i cant kill them if they have specific resistances. What enemies are poison resistant?

Assuming an ability of 2300 and 600 strength with 150 melee damage, this is the total damage...

Dagger: 1347
Blade: 1397

As close as they may be, it just doesn't work like that...

fine make that 700 strength

Blade: 1482

1100 strength...
Dagger: 1579
Blade: 1593

Lets go 1200 strength and 2400 ability
Dagger: 1629
Blade: 1636

It gets closer and closer but just won't happen at the levels they are meant to be used at (50-100).

erm why is the blades damage going up with the dagger?

the blade deals elemental damage which isnt affected by strength
