I have enduring guard at 8 points I think and sometimes I evade 2-3 boss skills in a row. So if you have some points over put it in enduring guard.

well it can be that u got almost maxed or maxed fortitude, im too lazy to max those abilities

My fortitude isn't that much high. Maybe around 600-800

i tested enduring guard at lvl 20+, didnt see the change

actually sometimes skewer is higher than melee, also useful for few bosses =]
good for very slow spears, since its very fast casting and it does same dmg on lvl 1

What does skewer do?

skewer is exactly like longshot, longshot pins the target for 2 secs and skewer pins the target for 6 secs
but its useless for lvling, i'll be on close combat anyway so keeping it lvl 1 and it does same dmg as maxed since its lvl matter, very fast casting and one of the fastest cooldowns

a guy using a spear would not want to pin down an enemy except for boss fights...what are they gonna do? throw the spear at the enemy?

skewer is a skill to use on lvl 1 with slow spear, ymir spear + skewer is prob the best

skewer does melee dmg, no matter what skill lvl it is, but, if u have very slow spear, skewer has much faster casting than ur melee, and one of the fastest cooldowns, so lets say with ymir spear u do 1.2k dmg with melee, think ur doing it with very fast attacking

pinning down a mob while using a spear is crap, unless spear got enough range to hit the mob from far enough so it wont hit u
not enough time to leave combat stance and sigils to kick in tho
