I dabbled with the 160 2h bone hammer. It wasn't half bad. It was especially good for its price.

Ok, I have a Ymir spear and a freezing axe and opal axe.
I find that I have much more dps with the spear once I hit with shatter, double attack and skewer(lvl 1) so I guess it depends on your build

Oh double attack with heavy wep can be great for nuking, but overall it'll be lower dps. I know that many lower lvls enjoy using heavy weapon because with double attack and shatter u can nuke everything, same reason why ice mages at low lvls are extremely fun.

Where do I find lux shops?

One for any level in Farcrag. Need 20k to look in tho.

One in entrance to ow. Need 25k to look in. All items have lvl 50 require. Also lvl 60 to get in ow.

2 in Carrow-
One at encampment with lvl 100and requirement to look in and use. No gold requirement.

Other is in the area between the Bolgs and spiders. Lvl 150 requirement to see and use. No gold requirement.

2 handed is good if u use ymir hammer or get a lvl 180 hammer. Is used 1 handed and ymir hammer I think they are both very good but if u want to cast skills then I prefer both handed. I also have a friend that's lvl 205 and he used ymir till lvl 200 and he said it still works fine for him so...

Has there been any math done to determine which is better? I have done lots of experiments with both setups but I always come back to 2H/skills rotation build. If done right the cool downs align perfectly for a smooth skill rotation. My way of testing this is simply when I solo level - I can kill 4 stars at my level with no restos. But if I try leveling with a 1H/off build I have to pop restos like crazy. Note that I also have cool down reduction on giant swing and rupture, which helps significantly. I have to use heroic hastes for my build, which some might not be able to afford. The 2H lvl 200 hammer (I call her GraveDigger) is actually more damage than Ymir and almost twice as fast. The only downside to the 2H build is the loss of chaos damage and dl weapon proc.

My friend with lvl 200 2 handed hammer deals nore dmg then another warrior while my friend wears tank lux while the other warrior wears dps lux. Srry crim ik u don't like 2 handed but try the lvl 200 one out

1. U dont need to apologize to me, matter of preferrence and I still use mordy dark str spear.
2. I stated it often enough, I prefer speed, and mordy spears fit me the best.

Never never never use a two handed wepon in celtic heroes. They are only available to us so otm can laugh and troll. One handed with offhand will ALWAYS out dps a two handed unless u have a crappy build, really crappy, like u put all ur stat points in focus. Two handed wepons need a dmg boost and speed decrease to even be half functional.

2 handed weapons are slooooow! Skills, reload, auto, its all slow. And the weight is higher:/ And what if you miss? You missed the hit and you need to wait very long till you can do dmg again. With a 1 handed weapon its faster, so if you miss something you don't need to wait ages to do dmg again. Than the dmg, i don't have experience with dmg, but maybe if its higher, than its still slower. What do you want? Example, 1500 auto dmg every 6 seconds? Or 1200 auto dmg every 4 seconds? Than i prefer the 1200 auto from the 1 handed.

the answer is a single handed weapon with a damage offhand will generally give you the most dps. One handed weapons are faster than two handed weapons. Any additional damage from a two handed weapon is usually negated by the slower speed.

On that note, something like a Ymir hammer can be very powerful in shorter fights. Similar to an ice mage vs a fire mage. The speed of a Ymir hammer is rather slow at 7878; however, it will receive a bigger speed reduction from lux or haste lix as its percentage based. Either way with whatever weapon you use its still 30% faster regardless. If you use double attack with Ymir you can hit larger amounts of damage. In my opinion, a Ymir hammer is very effective while leveling. Despite its slow speed, the higher amounts of damage, assuming you have a dps build with gear, will kill mobs rather quickly.

All in all the single handed weapons with an offhand will fair you better; however, don't count all two handed weapons out. Also take into account the bonuses granted by offhand weapons.
