Only the main quest armor offers chaos resist so armors like wardon meteroic and frozen will have chaos resist.
U can find out the damage type of each boss by using a druid with wards. First watch and see how much the boss deals then cast one ward at a time wards need to be a decent lvl to see the difference. After u cast one ward check the damage if it still says in the same range of numbers then move to the next ward eventually u will notice damage going down compared to the starting damage after u see this uk what ever was the last ward cast thats the main damage type for the boss.
Re: Enduring Guard or Pro Stance for DPS?
#22well you can just use common sense
bosses that look like ninjas deal pierce damage as they must be similar to rogues
bosses that are rock/magma looking (like the dominator) deal heat based damage
etc, etc...

#23Yeah, I would like to be accurate so I can take ss and do a write up on each boss for my clan site.

Re: Enduring Guard or Pro Stance for DPS?
#24Not sure for a dps but I guess running frenzy is a must. If u are full dps don't put points in protection skills imo, max ur offensive skills.
At level 97 hybrid I run:
Double attack
Giant swing
Shatter
Pro stance
Enduring guard
(why do warriors run pummel
it's terrible imo)
And that works brilliantly for me.

#25pummel is a shatter that doesnt destroy armor
pummel is also pretty much a double attack that has a chance of missing
pretty bad if you ask me
otm should make it better so people will actually use it

#26Pummel is double attack with chance of missing? People hit 400-500 on me with double attack. I was hit for 68 dmg by a 25/25 pummel when I had no armour on...pummel is a shatter that doesnt destroy armor

Re: Enduring Guard or Pro Stance for DPS?
#27yes pummel doesnt delay weapon damage and if youve got a lux wep (which most of you probably do unless youre a high level tank with shield)
then pummel does pretty much the same damage as your normal hit
so since pummel doesnt delay wep damage and it does the same amount as a normal hit
and double attack just does double the wep damage
they are equal

Re: Enduring Guard or Pro Stance for DPS?
#29Correct pummel doesnt take weapon delay but the same is with double attack the difference is pummel requires a lot of points into the skill just to equal ur auto while at lvl 1 double attack hits the same as ur auto. Another difference is double attack does double ur auto so if ur hitting 100-200 double attack will hit 200-400. So pummel and double attack are not the same they have many differences in the skill. If u invest points into pummel u should remove it and switch to doh me strike because u get double ur auto for the same amount of points which cant miss.yes pummel doesnt delay weapon damage and if youve got a lux wep (which most of you probably do unless youre a high level tank with shield)

Re: Enduring Guard or Pro Stance for DPS?
#30actually i think double strike only works on creatures in a certain level
so with 1 point in it the only thing youll be able to hit is the darkfell flamebringers at the beach :|
