Maybe look in leaderboards and write down the top 50 skill hits for warrior on all worlds. Then go to those worlds and ask all of them which oh they use. And see which answer you get the most. I know on Arawn all of them will say they use the haste dagger (at least in Res...don't tend to check gear on competition cause I really do not care lol)

Designed for and actually being better than the other options are 2 different things. OTM may have had warriors in mind when designing that weapon but it doesn't mean it's the best choice.

Most warriors that don't use main hand axe or hammer will just hotbar one of those weapons to use with rupture. So most spear warriors if they aren't tanks are still warriors that use rupture

I have used the dagger with both mord spear and gele str axe and the dagger adds more to my skills as well as my autos. I am strictly axe now and still would not go back to any axe oh. The dagger (again) is better dps as it frees up a ring slot in which you can add a high lvl damage ring. I had the lvl 200 heat axe before and a friend (another dps warrior) loaned me his dagger to test and it improved all skills for me

dagger is better than element axe for sure, anything is. I still stand by slash axe, an many high level warriors in my clan do too. Slash axe will work beautifully with gele axe

I guess if you want less auto dmg and less skills dmg, then by all means use the slash axe.

Slightly less auto damage, more skill damage

^^ a lot less auto dmg and less skills dmg. Like I said and other warriors on my server have experienced, the poison dagger offhand provides greater auto and skills dmg than the slash axe. I forget who it was that said to go look at the highest warrior skill hits on online rankings and they are not using the slash offhand axe.

Have you actually equipped both to see the stats and run lix with the slash axe vs the poison dagger or are you just going off what you assume?
