I'm surprised. It would provide the best auto dmg between skill hits. And with pierce being so often lured it makes it even better, then just switch to your 2 handed weapon for rupture.

have to agree with Zyz,spear/dagger seems to offer best auto dps before access to gele axes.

And isn't it best to hotbar to a 2h blunt for rupture, dbl attack and pummel as they are based on your damage? Otherwise I'm putting in far to much effort.

Rupture and pummel, yes. Double I'm not sure as you might have a stronger auto attack depending on rings+mord Spear + offhand vs the 2 handed hammer.

Many of us don't need to hotbar axe for rupture as we have like 6 gele axes equipped so a couple mages carry lure of soldiers as well in Res. Which is nice

I rupture swap with despoiler hammer. My spear is void str thus its better than any axe up to shadow solar flames.

While Rupture is great, I dont see how u can have 'Rupture Build', its still mostly auto. And auto overall is more dps than rupture.

Set for gele with 8k hp (not full strength) I can get 8k attack, 3.3k dmg, 6.4k rupture, just today I got kill on 200 edl against 3 220 rogues, with a super haste an no energy. Tell me again how my build is not good

This is turning into too much of an argument, I respect everyone has their different builds, both me and other warriors on my server who I have great respect for, stand by slash axe as best dps for the builds we use. That is all. I am very satisfied with my build and it does get me kills.

7317 hp full str build 4250 damage 7131 attack (with frenzy and no lix) hit a 7228 rupture as my highest skill (says around 7400 on skill page. Get 210 and 215 edl kill (even against smellyunder some times hehe) and have gotten 160 6 and 210 6 event dragon kill several times...yeah I will keep my dagger oh and you can keep your axe

And my gele build lowers me to like 3400 damage with 11k hp cause I switch out dps jewellery for Gara tank set and heliant rings and edl shield as I am the primary basher beside our main tank. But I am still full str cause alting every couple days is too much of a hassle for me lol

And if you like your build than keep it. No one here is saying to change it or gear. Just giving reasons why we feel dagger is better than the axe. I prefer to drive a gm doesn't mean I tell ford drivers they are wrong.
