Wow. I have taunt and warcry both close to max on my tank and if I am paying attention, or not energy drained by Chained I pretty much never lose aggro. In the rare cases where I really screw up and die I can usually get it back pretty quickly. The consequence of my build is that I do no damage and level like a snail in molasses. I currently only have points in sweeping which I use by fighting as many mobs as I can pull at and survive at once. I target the biggest one and by the time I get to the others they have been sweeper down a fair bit. I have a few points in frenzy, but it is only good for solo, and cuases deaths in the AoE scenario.

If I can take points out of aggro mamagement and still have it work this will change everything. I am even hesitant to mention this and predict a nerf war about it. On the other hand, as far as I can tell, I am one of the only actual tanks on my server. Other warriors seem to mostly tank by staying some sort of hybrid and being very high level. This could create an influx of viable tanks.

These changes are likely to be controversial in the Rogue community in particular that has been asking for changes to Assassinate and some of the other rogue skills.

I hope that rather than doing this and then having to nerf something that OTM addresses rogue concerns in a meaningful and timely fashion. That would be a better outcome for the game.
