Re: FRENZY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My frenzy if 30/30 it is great for power levelling with pots and exilars,
I also have pummel, giant swing and sweeping blow at 30/30 and protective stance at 20/30

If your clan has a full tank, definitely use frenzy as it does a lot of extra damage in fights.

To me it is definitively not worth the meer 20 seconds of time it lasts.

Resurecting an old post.

Could we make frenzy last longer please

I have never heard anybody claim it is OP but it just expires way too quickly.

If you are casting you are not auto attacking. So you get 20 seconds of increased damage and attack with reduced armor. but with you lose at least one attack to recast. With a slow weapon you get 4 good hits and lose your 5th entirely. With a fast weapon you can get 7 good hits and lose your 8th.

Example Currenlty I have
Normal W 20 Frenzy
Attack 788 1133
Defence 10 -162
Damage 537 581
Armor 252 166

So I get an extra 8% damage but loose 12-20% of my hits because I have to recast?
So recasting frenzy means I do less damage.

The skill already means I am going to take more damage. Shouldn't it mean I do more damage?

Can it be increased to at least 60 sec please. Make it the same as protective stance.

Does Frenzy's duration stay the same at higher skill levels?

IF so, definitely signed. Even at my lowly L31, Frenzy (cast right before aggro) Barely last long enough fighting 1 +5 mob with a 15 DPS weapon.

With all short duration dps buffs, therefore cast in combat, what you must determine is the trade off between your base dps and cast times including interrupts. For instance, let's say that you are clicking along at 100 dmg per tick. Over the duration of the buff, will you gain more damage than the missed auto or even dmg skills that do not occur during cast times and interrupts. Poison Weapon is a good example of this since it gets interrupted a lot and has a fairly long cast time, in terms of the rogue casting pace. A dps Druid using Touch could be considered another example, though more complex.

I have to point out, Your I am 95% sure that when you cast frenzy, your auto is not interrupted.
Try it and watch your damages aboe the mob.
You will have a steady flow of damage, say 1 per second, and then cast frenzy and no damage is done, once it is cast, 2-3 damage amounts pop up all in one go above the mob.
Due to this, I think that it does not interrupt your auto attack.

However, if you cast a skill while frenzy is in the "loading" stage, you will lose the auto attack that you will otherwise have gained.

So I suggest, cast it, then wait for one second, then do your skills.

As far as the length of time goes, it should be 30-60 seconds long, definitely longer than it is now.

I have tried your experiment and have been timing when I should see the damage show up on the mobs head and it doesn't happen, and there is no double hit either. I think I am right on this one.

Either way. The skill is way too short. 60 sec plus please.
