Re: is spear good enough? or i go back to sword ability?
#2Having high spear ability is good to have when you have a mage around with lure of assassins. Most mages put points here because rogues and rangers just love it, and as a warrior you might want to take advantage of the pierce lure as well. A mobs piercing resistance will probably lower your damage to only about 30% of your max damage. An average pierce lure will increase your damage as high as 80% of your max damage stat.

#4Spear is terrible. My sword ability and blunt ability is maxed out. I like blunt more but I hate spear ability it's more for rangers who r bored and have some spare time.

#5Spear is good if you look at things from an overall team play concept with mages / Lures in place as Aileron has mentioned.
Choice of weapons needs to be accompanied by the right equipment and stats combination. Don't try to use spear if you have low ATTACK (Hit rate). You've gotta find a way to buff up your hitrate to be effective. Rangers and Rogues usually have lots more DEX than warriors typically do and thus they do better pierce dmg overall. A warrior needs to compensate this by getting one of those new Radiant Willow Rings or Radiant Breastplate, coupled with Spear rings (Royal / Grand) which add some dmg and improve your hitrate.

Re: is spear good enough? or i go back to sword ability?
#6Spears are way slower than swords. Blunts are good for dmg. But if u have high blunt ability, like really high, and have a lot of money, AND like to be blunt-dps-warrior, DON"T get the double-handed diamond hammer. Get the SINGLE-handed hammer and get a golden blade of ice/fire/magic. It adds WAY more dmg in total, and is MUCH faster.

#7Ya really don't know how to calculate: speed vs dmg, therefore if we talk about ratio than spear has best ratio plus is one handed. This game made spear to slow when in reality spears are quite fast because thier light. But in game terms I always use a spear and I tested it. Me an my friend almost same stats and armor. He was higher lvl then me by a few. He had max sword me max spear. And could not beat me
