Hey guys! I got an alteration and maxed Pummel,Giant Swing, Protective Stance and put the rest into Bandage. I thought my pummel would be fixed since it kept hitting the same as my auto but it hasn't changed -.- Is this a bug or is it that pummel is just a usless skill thats not worth wasting time casting in combat/pvp? :|

I asked on here and someone said the reason its useful is that its a free hit: doesnt use your weapon delay and it doesn't interrupt your auto.

Idk what happens in PVP but it hits harder than giant swing. Giant swing is terrible when the duel starts

Even in my dps build ( where the majority of pts r in str) my maxed pummel always does more than my auto. By alot... Altho i guess I have a cpl of rings

when i was still at 119 trees, i wanted to change pummel into bash, but noiw at golems, its awsome!

Pummel doesnt rely entierly on your weapon unlike giant swing and sweeping blow. If you are hitting more on your auto then it probably means you have a very dpsy build and a good weapon. I pummel lower then my auto maybe 1/10 of the time which is good considering it has a quick cool down and does hit more than auto normally.

What?....no it doesn't....sweeping blow is one of the worst skills ever...maybe it hits the same if giant is 1

It's really fast. What do u mean hitting the same as ur auto? That never happened to me. If u wanna hit hard, get good equipment.

Hi there Mihindu, yes I too take notice that Giant swing is "terrible", it some times hit 300-400 damage less than what it says for example mines is 1200 and hits 750 ok so check this my Pummel skill hits 980 and does 800. So yeah my point is Giant Swing is booty. Its basically the same pummel and just one difference like you stated, "reason its useful is that its a free hit doesn't use your weapon delay and it doesn't interrupt your auto”. Which is alight for pvp if someone was to say “lets hand to hand fight, you know like if someone was bored.

My only fact of the matter is that "Giant Swing" should do the most damage as it says it should as displayed.
