Lets talk. Warriors.

Ok we already know the warrior is the tank on this game but here it something interest; ( note. We will use general terms use it outside game )

Noun: A player-character, typically in a MMORPG, that is able to occupy an agressor and take the brunt of the aggressor's attacks while the other players deal damage, heal, or perform some other action. The "tank" can survive longer while taking damage than the other characters. Typically, the tank has higher hitpoints (health) and a higher armor rating than the other characters. Less commonly, a character with a lower armor rating can perform the actions of the tank by using avoidance abilities. Ultimately, the tank needs to be able to occupy the agressor without dying. The method employed, whether avoidance or absorption, does not matter, as long as the tank can mitigate damage in some way.


So on this game we have 2 tanks the Game specific and only relaible build warriors And rangers .

Hear me out before you start bashing me .

So from this definition this game have 2 way of tanking

Kite with bolas pretty efficienty
Old fashion tanking .

Lets keep talking about warriors

This game lack dungeous were Raid partys are need typically needing 1 or 2 tank per party, so. Why should all warrior be tank only Build when is no need of multiples tanks because they are not raid partys or dungeons .

Because the game still growing and still small. The lack of content force to be only a few bosses over all the need the group system or raid party system, menaing only a few tanks are need it .

Well....reading all comments from most players....99percent all say the same thing !!

Warriors are tanks only class

Soooooo......in theory we should be the only class that should be healed by a druid....legitimately !!

(Why should all the other non tanking classes qualify for heals)

Then that squares the class up... ;)

We take the damage....so we should be only class to qualify for heals only off druids

Job done.

Then warriors then are in demand !!!!

Lets keep talking about warrior

Hit points HP ( health)
Armor.

HP on this game is the same for all casses if the same amountof vitality is use.

Armor .

This is where becomes interest. Another player is doing reverse enginner on armor. ( waiting for his findings)
On CH armor values are 100% warrior , 66% rogues and rangers , 33% druids and mages in the same tier and. Same elemental protection per tier.
Armor add ons are avalaible for all classes and few only for 3 classes ( rogues rangers and warriors) the can add up to 320 armor.
The top tier armor provides around 600 for warriors. 400 for. Rangers/rogues 200 for. Druids mages . Depending. On how much you sacriface some slots in your gear you can have up 500 armor equipped regardless of your class.

Armor buffs , warriors have a skill the buff armor protective stance link to vitality points and skills points from 33 to 500+ according of SP and VIT
And the other armor buff is a druid spell Shield of bark dependign again on focus and skills point equipped to skill can be from 33 to 600+
So any class can obtain around 1.1 armor with buff and warriors around 1.6 with 2 buffs

Until Sir Blazer finding. My speculation is armor become irrevelant. And over rated after 600 armor point.

Lets keep going.

Skills
Crow Control skill and aggro/target control skills

Warriors have 1 CC and 1 aggro control skills

But dinnamics of the game at moment is what player creates the more aggravation to a mob .
Meaning bolas after a high skill hit will take aggro.

Other classes crow control .... Firestorm will inmediately take the aggro from adds same as the druids storm touch . The dinnamics of the game make this skills CC becuase the deal more daamge away from the target. Over all a mage is better CC because can use energy shield , fire cloack and firestorm and maybe soon icestorm.

So other classes can be fun and multi-functional and have diferent efficient builds and warrior can be a meatshield or shield without meat and medriocre dps . Yeah makes sense. Is like ordering hamburger with out the meat patty. Just the bums lettuces and dressings ....

If a ranger can tank.( read original post ) Should not be dps Thats the argument you make .

wow thats like trying to tell a child your an idiot in smart talk of course i understand it easily its so simple you are saying that warriors must be the diversion of the attackers hits while others kill them with ease ( dumbing it down for other readers who don't understand)
