I understand not many warriors like the skill, shield bash. I am not too familiar with this skill, though i know the general effects of it. I am willing to give this skill a try with an open mind.

If any of you warriors like this skill or know the exact statistics of the skill, please explain under this thread.

the chance of stunning per skill level
does the melee ability effect the skill? How?
What exactly does the stun do? Make the target skip one attack?
Is the damage effected by weapon damage? By the shield?

Altough the description of shield bash says it stuns the opponent for some time it actually just lowers there attack. If you want to check find a war class mob that shield bashes (Marshall Gannon in Shale) and check your attack stat, then agro him with auto attack off and wait for him to shield bash you. You will see it lowers your attack and that is all. Hope this helps.

So what is the chance of shield bash succeeding?
Does the melee ability increase it's damage, it's debuff, or chance of succeeding?

I personally believe shield bash should be changed, and upped in ability, as atm its really just a waste of stats....been using it for a long while, but lets face it, rarely to never stuns an enemy, and its very weak at that, its pretty much no different than landing a punch on an enemy it has such a little effect.

I don't check when/if he hits me. If I see a large number, I look away and scream at my druids lol.
