I want to try out rupture but need to train up either axe or blunt. Is one better than the other? Trying to decide which to go with.

I use hammers. Reason for that is, they in my opinion look more cool. Also one handed like axe. Just a bit slower but the extra dmg is worth it.

I'd go with blunts, but that's just me

if youve got a damage offhand get axe

if youve got a shield offhand it really doesnt matter

if you into that elemental damage stuff and spend thousands of gold on getting what you need then yeah get a main hand axe. if you use energy for damage get a blunt weapon two hand and rock house.

Blunt is much better, most mobs of carrowmore are weaker to blunt than slash, blunt has better damage and the 200 speed doesnt really matter if you combo lix or use super haste+.

Yeah but crush is.
I think he means crush.

My apologies had a brain fart, but crush damage superceeds slash or pierce, blunt skill is more accurate
