Lvl150 soon, should I get fire or ice axe?

Debating over which one to get.
People say fire is better than the ice one but I don't see much difference.

Fire is maybe a bit better cuz more mages use fire lure but that's the only point I see.

most of mages are fire, fire is if u lvl with mages
or ice if ur mages are mostly ice
solo/no mages, magic

Just to add, with my dark trident and dagger i have same/more dps then axe (im at 370str atm)

I have both dagger and axe. Axe gives me around 40dmg more but dagger gives rejuv.
