So been getting kinda irritated with my current warrior. Nearly a lvl40 (currently at 39) bought an ancient broad axe (two handed), have rupture at 15/15 with giant swing 10/15, problem is I miss sometimes (usually 3-7 times last hit and it really irritates me :< ) and I find it inefficient to be getting attacked twice to swing and MAYBE hit the mob. It works perfect for lower level mobs on the hill in shalemont, but I'd like to know alternatives.

Such as should I go for a one handed axe and some off hand? Which kind generally? Should just buy a less heavy axe that isn't so slow . or stick with it until I can have a warden's weapon.

Btw my build is a bit hybrid, 2 strength:3 vitality ratio with 25 focus unbuffed and a 5 tick energy amulet.

well first off you might be missing because your axe ability is too low

if its maxed...then yes id suggest a one handed axe and an offhand
if youre a plat buyer and/or are rich and/or wanna work long and hard then id suggest getting a golden blade of ice (offhand*) and a one handed axe (mainhand)

otherwise you might just wanna use an axe (mainhand) and a tower shield (offhand)


*golden blade of ice costs 250k in the otherworld lux shop
you could probably buy it from another player for less but its still gonna take work

axe is 247, tried going shield earlier levels and it takes me too long killing a mob, health problems start then :\ Any cheaper off hand axes that I can use to save up for the ice one :3 think I'm around 30k gold, lvl45 now too. Hoping to start farming by the end of the week in fingal, also, should I go for enduring guard and proc stance? and should I have double strike, rupture and giant swing as my main attack skills?

You could save up for the gold axe in lux shop in castle 80k or you could save up for golden blade of battle is lux shop 60k (both offhands)

There is also a dagger off hand for 40k I think and they all have silver versions = weaker but it's still a cheap offhand

so quick question since I've never user off hands and such, when it talks about attack speed, how do they alternate between attacks? and will my overall damage for skills be affected only by my main weapon or by both? (giant swing, rapture, shatter).

your skills will be affected by your offhand
so if your offhand adds like lets say 80 dmg then both your skills and your auto will increase by 80 dmg

your offhand swings every time your mainhand swings so it would be better to have a faster mainhand to maximize your damage
your axe is also kinda low...you might wanna switch to a faster weapon so your ability will go up faster and you can hit more

there is always the castle lux shop (quigley) who sells (golden, silver) axe of carnage and (golden, silver) blades of battle
golden axe = 80k
silver axe = 60k? (idk price...check for yourself lol)
golden blade = 60k
silver blade = 40k? (check this too if you want...idk price)

i wouldnt really suggest the bodkins...their damage isnt that great although they do provide some hp/energy regen
if you really think you cant save up for the golden blade of ice then go for either a silver/golden axe/blade

they both add slash damage (around 18-20 ish) which is pretty good
it does not matter if you use a sword or axe offhand as your abilities do not affect your offhand

dont go for enduring guard
it works great against physical attack skill mobs (not that many to be honest) but it is 0 use against anything else
protective stance is a good skill to increase your survivability
double attack, rupture, and giant swing are also great skills

posting full gear and gold will help, i would get the fastest while having good dmg one handed axe possible
would use shatter rupture and double attack if u want 3 offensive skills (i also use pummel, but pummel is crap for low lvls, and giant swing is always crap)
for defensive skills ofc protective stance maxed and rest in defensive formation

a good offhand is golden blade of battle, not so expensive, nice dmg for ur lvl and ofc 20 armour

i always recommend on saving for rejuv first tho
